SLJ- Nano Girls Experiment!

Kia ora, today i did Nano Girls xylophone experiment. I liked making the xylophone, the tubes are really cool and could be recycled for other experiments. I made sure i drunk all the water after my experiment. I was suprised that you could get different noises from the different water in the glasses depending on how much water was in each. Something that could make it cooler if you added food colouring to the water and made it coloured. A helpful tip would be to make sure you roll the paper up the landscape way.

  2. Kia Ora Mila,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey, it is awesome to see your first post of the summer and I look forward to seeing more as you continue blogging!

You did an amazing job with this experiment and your video was wonderful, you introduced the activity and experiment, explained how to do it and shared a tutorial on how to set it up AND then you showed us the different sounds and music you could make. It is also great to hear that your drunk the water after, you gotta stay hydrated during the hot summer heat!

I would like to know what other instruments you think you could make with those materials.

I had so much fun watching your video and I think you did such an awesome job that I am going to mark this as an OUTSTANDING blog post!!!

Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

  3. This is excellent Mila,
You stepped us through the video at a good pace and your instructions were very clear. I noticed how organised you were with your equipment. I think this is why your video presentation was so well timed.
For a second during your video, did I hear a bit of Jingle Bells?
Glad to read you didn't waste any water too.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Mrs Grant
