We made Anzac biscuits but they turned into pancakes, they tasted about a 6.5 out of 10 but they looked like a 1 out of 10. im not sure what went wrong but people will probably have lots of ideas.
I love the unique look of your Anzac biscuits/pancakes. I just love the crunch on the outside and then the chew middle. I think when they spread like that it has something to do with the baking soda. On Friday we are doing some science around baking soda so we might get the answers then.
Hi Mila, I don't have any ideas as to whats gone wrong, but your ANZAC pancakes still look delicious to me! In my house this weekend, we are going to make ANZAC slice - fingers crossed we don't have a baking failure. Your pictures show you looking so happy. I can tell you like doing baking and cooking activities. Keep up the good work. Stay safe, Julie
It looks delicious Mila. Perhaps too much golden syrup or sugar?? I'm sure it all got eaten. Grandpa thought they looked just the right size for his morning tea. Even better if they're chewy in the middle. XOX
